I have been trying to figure this out myself. The inner workings are obviously PVC, with what appears to be a polycarbonate diaphragm of unknown thickness. I am sure most that have watched this video have already figured that out. The more unknown is the black part. I have an idea of what it could be. I have worked with directional boring up to 12 inch pipe and this looks a lot like cuts of a smaller diameter boring pipe. Directional boring pipe is at the very least schedule 80, making it thick enough to drill horizontally and put 1/4, possibly 5/16 bolts through as shown in the video. The bigger question is, how is it all mated together?

I see that 2 4" pvc pipe flanges were used, reduced to 2". Can't determine what the diaphram is made from. Looks almost like a piece of polycarbonate?
